In Yakushima, October is still quite warm during the daytime.We’ve started planting potatoes (Nishiyutaka variety). We take great care from preparing the soil, and we’ll continue to nurture them without using pesticides.
The harvest is expected to be in early 2024. We hope people on the island and beyond will enjoy our delicious potatoes. Working in the fields, we sweat with the hope of bringing smiles to those who appreciate the taste.
